During the school year we count how many days we have had in school. Counting by ones and tens to 100 is one of our Kindergarten goals so we have a large celebration on the 100th day of school. We also have small celebrations on every tenth day of school. "Zero the Hero" comes by and gives is a small zero shaped snack and we complete a page in our zero the hero book. Here are two pictures I took while the students were doing their work. Celebrating every tenth day really helps us learn how to count by tens and counting on from a group of ten.
