Welcome to a New School Year!

It is great to finally have all of the students together.  This week we have been learning our classroom rules and routines. We have also jumped right into learning.  Here is a peek at some of the things we are doing this week.

This is our focus wall. It helps us remember what we are working on each week.

We are learning  2 poems this week. The students have been doing a wonderful job learning them. You can have them sing these at home too!!

Our biggest focus this week has been learning how to properly write our frog jump letters. The letters pictured below are called the frog jump letters because we start at the top of the letter, make a long line down and then frog jump back to the top of the letter to finish the formation of the letter.  I will be sending home some practice pages for the weekend.
