This week was our first of what I hope to be many cooking experiences in the classroom. Here are some pictures of us making applesauce. The students made it and took the pictures - with a little help from me :-) !! Next week we will be making apple crisp. We also use the pictures to make a book that we are using in writing workshop time.
Wash the apples.
Peel the apples.
Put the apples in the pot.
Put in water.
Put in Cinnamon. (or cimamim as many students called it)
Cook!
