This week our color of the week was white and we learned the poem A Chubby Little Snowman.
We celebrated our 80th day of school on Wednesday. This year is flying by!
Our words of the week were has, want, and it.
We also learned about the it word family and the letter I. We also learned a new strategy in reading to help us decode words.
We also explored snow and worked on narrative writing and telling what is happening inside of us as well as what is happening outside of us. We talked a lot about adding feelings in our stories. We also learned that sometimes authors repeat a word when they want to add emphasis.
